Who is the program for?
LFA is suitable for anyone wanting to improve their Rugby League ability. We have rep players (NYC, SG Ball and Harold Matthews) training with us, right through to local club players.
How is League Fit Academy different from all the other Rugby League based training programs?
League Fit Academy is unique in its approach to training for Rugby League. While it’s true that there are other field/skill based programs out there – none are coupled together with strength and conditioning work, designed specifically for Rugby League. Our program size is kept small for maximum attention and individualisation. It’s only when your exercise programs are written specifically for you, will you be able to reach your full potential.
All the skills in the world will not prepare your body physically. A proper strength and conditioning approach will firstly assess your weak areas, address lack of flexibility, reduce non contact injuries, increase your strength, speed, agility and power.
Do you have programs for younger Rugby League athletes?
We have recently established a field based program for those aged 9-12 years old.
What qualifications do your coaches have?
All our coaches are dedicated fitness professionals. Our trainers are accredited Australian Strength and Conditioning Coaches and/or hold Sport and Exercise Science University Qualifications.
